Introducing… CLICK!

Welcome to Click Portrait Art!  My name is Kortney, and I’m the founder of Click.  If you’ve known me for a while, you know of my previous studio, Kortney Ringel Photography. You may also know that I was on a hiatus from portrait photography for a few years because of some difficult circumstances.  I have traveled far on a journey of personal growth and discovery and am returning with fresh inspiration and a renewed passion for telling my story and others’ stories through photography.

Things are a little different at Click than at Kortney Ringel Photography.  First, I am working exclusively on-location for now, and I am adding some niches that I didn’t previously offer.  In addition to babies, children, families and high school seniors, Click will be offering family “lifestyle” sessions, professional headshots, personal branding and commercial sessions.  Please check out the web site at www.clickportraitart.com for more information.  There is a common thread throughout the portfolio of services – no matter what is photographed, whether it is a professional headshot, family or even a commercial session, the goal is to capture a piece of you – a piece of your story.

Life can feel complicated.  But what I know for sure is that all we are ever guaranteed is this very moment.  Our past shapes who we are today and the moments that we capture along the way are our legacy.  Having those pieces of our story documented is important –  photographs tell the story of us to our future selves, our children, our grandchildren and so on. Our story is important, and so worth telling.  That’s the simple principle behind Click.  With the click of the camera shutter, l will capture a piece of your story.  Your loves, connections, passions – whatever makes it your story.
